Having a “Hat” Moment

Happy August 1st, everyone!

Currently sipping my iced coffee while sitting at work! I officially finished my summer class this past Friday, & man oh man, was that a great feeling. My fall semester starts later on in August so I’m trying to soak up all the free time I have left.

Here’s the thing, I’m trying to get over being ashamed that it’s taking me longer than 4 years to graduate with my undergrad degree even though I’ve now done two summer semesters, which means I should have actually graduated early. When I switched my major to marketing, I didn’t realize how much harder my business classes would be. But they have been really hard for me, I’ve definitely received a few D’s, and a D is not a passing grade so I’ve had to retake those classes. I’m frustrated with myself because not only is it taking me longer than I would like to get my degree, it’s also costing me a lot more money.

With all that being said, I still just need to remember that everything, and I mean everything happens for a reason. & so what, it’s taking me a little bit longer to finish school but that’s okay because what matters is the fact that I’m finishing.

I just want anyone out there that’s feeling discouraged with what they’re doing to not give up. Maybe you didn’t get that job you wanted or maybe you aren’t where you expected to be in life. All that matters is the fact that you aren’t giving up. In order to succeed and live the life you want to live, you have to grind every single day to reach your next goal, whatever that goal is. I can promise you, what you want out of life isn’t going to just fall in your lap. You have to work for it and you have to work hard, even if you hate the grind. But grinding everyday at something you love will pay off in the end! & just because you aren’t where you want to be doesn’t mean you still can’t get there.

Okay, inspirational speech over with! Lets talk about this outfit:

I have been loving wearing this hat this summer! I used to think I couldn’t pull off a hat, but in reality you can pull off anything you want to pull off! My mom actually picked this hat out for herself but I decided to try it on myself and I fell in love.

A hat is perfect for a day by the pool, if you want to shade your face while you go for a run outside, making a trip to the mall, or having a casual afternoon/evening out with friends, family, or your significant other!

Also, a hat pulls together so many different types out outfits! You can wear a hat with jeans/shorts and a tee, with a casual dress, or with workout clothes.

Let me know if you need some style inspiration, I’ll help out anyway I can!

Have a great week & we’ll talk soon!

xx, Aubrianna

All things do happen for a reason. Plus, everything is all in God’s timing not ours!!
    You are so blessed!!!
