The Easiest No-Bake Treat

Hello, Thursday!! How’s everyone’s week going? I’m currently sipping coconut mango water after an hour long walk/jog. I’ve felt pretty tired all week but it’s a combination of working long hours & starting that time of the month. The sun is out today, which always boosts my mood & gives me that motivation to check things off the to-do-list.

One of those things on that to-do-list was this blog post! I came across the easiest no-bake treat on Instagram back in May and finally got around to making the recipe! It’s like 4 healthy ingredients & takes 15 minutes to make. Genius.

I know, genius, right? It’s not like edible store bought cookie dough that is infested with awful, unnecessary ingredients. They’re all natural ingredients and there’s few of them. The less ingredients the better, in my opinion. I came across this recipe on Instagram from @sixvegansisters.

Ingredient List:

+ 1 cup oat flour (I use this oat flour) + 1/2 cup natural peanut butter + 1/2 cup maple syrup + handful of dairy free chocolate chips

Directions:

Heat the maple syrup in a saucepan on medium heat until the syrup begins to bubble. Once it has started to bubble, remove the saucepan from the heat and whisk in the peanut butter. Pour this mixture into a bowl with the oat flour. Make sure the dough has chilled in the fridge for a couple of hours, then add in the chocolate chips.

Press the no-bake treat into a bread loaf pan that’s lined with parchment paper. Cut the cookie dough into little squares and freeze the pan. Whenever you want a little no-bake treat, break off a piece of this cookie dough fudge and you’re set.
